2025 National SAE Grant Recipients
Throughout the month of November 2024 RCF FFA members worked diligently on their National FFA SAE Grants. These grants are to assist members in either a start-up SAE or to expand an existing SAE program.
Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs) are an integral part of agricultural education and serve to provide members with hands-on learning experiences that they learn from outside of the classroom. These programs vary from crop production, turf grass management, small animal care and production, poultry production, specialty animal production and many other areas.
If chosen for an SAE grant, the student could earn up to $10,000 to use towards their project's expenses. The application for this grant is lengthy and requires members to explain their Supervised Agricultural Experience as well as develop a detailed yearly budget including capital and non-capital expenses. The application also asks members to identify collaborators on their project and explain why they need the funding for their project.
The following students' applications were selected from among over a thousand applications nationwide with 3 of our RCF FFA members earning grants! Congratulations to these members on their hard work!
